The Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture has recently incorporated “Companies that produce packaging and packaging materials for food products” and their suppliers into current KRITIS guidance.
Critical Infrastructures (KRITIS) are organisations or institutions of essential importance for the state which if these become unavailable or are disrupted this may lead to supply bottlenecks with long-term effects. Through its incorporation into the current KRITIS-guidance, Christiansen Print would have been exempted – subject to the necessary health protection – from the pandemic-required closures. This means that Christiansen Print can comply with its integral role in the supply chain.
The basis for this is the supply of all Christiansen Print sites with raw materials. To this end, as part of our risk management, we are in close contact with our suppliers. As things stand, the supply of raw materials required for operations is secured for the time being.
Thanks to the forward planning, Christiansen Print is able to respond flexibly to peaks in demand and expand production capacities where required up to capacity limits. Currently we are not expecting any disruptions to our pre-print production due to COVID-19. We would like to reassure you that we are doing whatever is required to continue to maintain our delivery reliability.
In our family business our top priority is the health of our employees, customers and business partners. Therefore back in February preventive Corona protective measures were approved and implemented at all Christiansen Print sites. Due to the fast moving developments in the spread of Coronavirus we are constantly reassessing our preventive measures and our precautions to minimise risk in accordance with official recommendations. In addition, comprehensive hygiene rules are being implemented in all sites at all times.
Personal appointments are only possible at the moment to a limited extent - no problem! Our employees are still there to help you and will be pleased to advise you by Skype in a video conference, by telephone or in writing. We will definitely find a customised solution for your requirements. You can still address any queries and orders to info@christiansenprint.de or in the usual way to your designated contact partner.
We look forward to helping you! Please stay healthy.
